License Activation

Purchase LOOPPL through Lemon Squeezy, then open the app and enter your license key once. An internet connection is required for first activation.

After activation, LOOPPL stores the key locally so you do not need to enter it every time. Use Reset License in Settings if you need to clear the saved license and activate again.

What LOOPPL Does

LOOPPL turns a folder of video clips into BPM-timed visual loops. Import your clips, let LOOPPL optimize them for smooth playback, then build your output using layers, rhythm timing, VFX, overlays, and export tools.

Use LOOPPL to generate loop visuals or full-song visual passes — synced to any tempo you set.

Import Clips

Click IMPORT CLIPS or drag video files directly into the Library panel.

Optimized Clip Storage

Imported clips are processed and saved here for fast playback:

~/Documents/LOOPPL/Optimized Clips
NoteIf a clip was already optimized, LOOPPL reuses it instead of creating a duplicate. Keep your Optimized Clips folder intact between sessions to benefit from this.
Large LibrariesLarge libraries are supported, but playback is smoother when the active pool only contains clips you want LOOPPL to use. Exclude unwanted clips, especially when importing a lot of CHOPPL optimized media.

CHOPPL Clips

LOOPPL can scan for CHOPPL optimized clips and pull directly from CHOPPL’s optimized media folders — no re-optimizing or duplicate media required.

Click FIND CHOPPL to scan for CHOPPL media on your system. Located clips appear in the Library and can enter the random pool.

Use INCLUDE CHOPPL or EXCLUDE CHOPPL to control whether CHOPPL optimized clips are included in LOOPPL’s active random pool. From the Library list, you can also include or exclude individual clips.

Layers

LOOPPL uses a layer stack to compose the final visual output. Each layer can be configured independently.

opacityBlend transparency of the layer.
scaleSize multiplier for the clip within the canvas.
x / y positionOffset position on the canvas.
blend modeCompositing blend applied to the layer.
on / off stateToggle the layer in or out of the render.

VFX

The VFX tab adds motion and texture effects to your output. These effects react with the current playback and BPM timing.

Overlay

The Overlay tab controls simple visual elements burned into the exported render. Turn off anything you don’t want included.

BPM Workflow

LOOPPL is built around BPM timing. Load an audio loop or song, enter the correct BPM, then choose a rhythm behavior for how visuals respond.

Rhythm Options

quartereighthhalfbar

Hit Chance

Hit Chance controls how often clips change or hit on the beat. Lower values create more space, fewer changes, and occasional black dips. Higher values keep the visuals more constant and active.

Batch Audio

Load multiple audio files, confirm the BPM for each, and let LOOPPL record them one after another automatically.

This is useful for generating visuals for multiple loops or full songs without manually restarting each export session.

Aspect Ratio

Choose your output format before recording. Aspect controls the preview frame and the exported frame, so the canvas preview updates to show the selected shape.

TipFPS supports up to 60 FPS depending on machine performance. Use 60 FPS for smoother motion when file size and render time are acceptable. Use 30 FPS for lighter exports and faster batch processing.

Export

Click RECORD LOOP to capture the current canvas/renderer output.

Output Location

~/Documents/LOOPPL/Loops

LOOPPL records the canvas/renderer output. When FFmpeg succeeds, LOOPPL exports an MP4.

LOOPPL also keeps and offers WebM as a backup or download fallback when needed.

ImportantKeep these folders in place between sessions. Deleting them removes cached optimized media and prior exports, requiring LOOPPL to re-process clips on next use.
